Featuring 3 x 12AX7 pre amp tubes and 2 x 6L6GC power amp tubes, the D-Fifty has a single input, a 3-way Bright switch, a Mid Boost switch, a Jazz/Rock voicing switch, and unique Treble, Middle, and Bass controls, offering wide tonal shaping options and a distinctive classic boutique tone. The foot switchable Overdrive section has Drive and Level controls, while the Power Amp section features a Master Volume and Presence control.
The D-Fifty includes a 2-button footswitch for engaging the Preamp Boost and Overdrive functions. The output is switchable for 4, 8, or 16 Ohm speaker cabinets, making operation more intuitive and user-friendly.
Featuring a Mod-friendly hand wired circuit board, and the distinctive Yellow Grill cloth the D-50 can be paired with VHT’s D-Series cabinets as matching companions. These powerful cabinets enhance the D-Fifty's tone or can improve the sound of existing rigs.
